One of my favorite animals is the Mountain Goat so I was pleased to be able to spend some time watching a few feeding down low in Yellowstone National Park one late spring afternoon. Usually we need the spotting scope just to get a glimpse of these guys feeding high up on the steep cliff faces but this day we got lucky and were able to get fairly close. Beautiful animals for sure.

Wonderful image. In Kerry, Ireland where my mother hails from they crown a wild mountain goat as, ‘King Puck’ at an annual festival! Regards Thom.
