Magpie

Getting eye to eye with a local magpie who was hanging out on picnic table waiting for lunch to arrive. Unfortunately picnic season is over. However I am fairly confident the ever resourceful magpie will find a bite to eat somewhere.

I have added you to my reader! 🙂 We don’t have magpies here in Omaha, but we travel several times a year to CO and I love watching them and their antics! The clarity in this is spectacular….it feels like I am in the image!

  Thanks, this guy sure had tons of personality. You could sense that he was used to getting a meal at this table and a bit indignant I just took the photo and drove away without unpacking my lunch.

I love Magpie’s and they seem to elude me… I’ve been hanging out near farmland, but maybe I need to set up a picnic and invite these wily beauties.
