So beautiful, Mike. It must have felt good to be there. Cold, but inspiring. I remember hiking in the Tetons (not in winter!) and I saw a moose and some pica! We have lost picas in NM except for one last hold out due to climate change. They are sooo cute!!! Thanks for sharing this beautiful shot!
Peace
Mary
Hi Mary, the Tetons are sure a wonderful place and often see moose and pica there as well. I did not know Pica were absent in NM. I would have thought for sure some would be still around in the higher mountains. That is sad.
Beautiful!! 💖

What unusual weather! The hoarfrost in the trees must have been beautiful.

Hi Eliza, yes the hoarfrost was wonderful. A short lived misty white world. It melted in the snap of a finger as soon as the sun came out.

Phenomenal shot. You can just feel the crisp cold air. Colors, exposure, etc. all perfect. What a setting.

Thanks Stephen, it was a wonderful mooring and one of those days of being there as the fog, which had hung around for days, was just clearing.
