Very nice photo of the Willet! I love photographing birds in the backyard of our apartment. The building is a stone’s throw from the Maumee River, which runs from Lake Erie, in Ohio, through Toledo, and down through the state towards Indiana. It hits Napoleon, where I’m located, and provides us great views of a variety of migratory and nesting birds. It must be terrific living near a refuge!
Hi, we would love to be so fortunate to live near a river especially one that attracts wildlife and migratory birds. The refuge where we photographed this is a couple of hour drive for us but proves great wildlife viewing and makes for a wonderful weekend trip.
