Hi Mike. How close was he to you? Looks pretty near. Do you generally get encounters like this while hiking quite a way from the car park or is it more local to to the beaten track – would you say? I always feel a great sense of privilege when something feels safe enough to want to share its space with me.

Hi we got fairly close as he was busy grazing. I agree that is a privilege to have an animal allow you to share their space.
