Biscuit Basin

We stopped at Biscuit Basin after skiing up to Mystic Falls and were treated with just enough sunlight peeking through the cloudy sky to brighten the landscape on an otherwise cloudy afternoon.

  1. You are KILLING ME with these Yellowstone shots. You should know that we are planning a winter family trip to the Tetons/Yellowstone are for this year. Can’t get enough of that magical place.

Just finding you, Mike, and glad to have done so. I worked in Yellowstone the summer I was 19, and the park will always feel special to me. Thanks for these beautiful images.

    1. Hi Cate, thanks for stop in by and letting us know you enjoy the yellowstone photos. It must have been a wonderful experience to work there. We really enjoy visiting there and try to do so often as there is nothing quite like it. Hope you are having a great day.

    1. Hi Tieme, thanks Yellowstone is a wonderful place and a great sport to see. If you ever get a chance yo uphold put it on your list of places to see in the United State. However a winter vista is better than in summer with all the crowds. Hope you are doing well and have a great day.

      1. I surely believe winter is a better time to photograph! Also, the sun rises later, so you can sleep a little longer 😉

I am fine, thank you. I hope you too! Have a great day!

        Kind regards,
        Tieme

        1. Hi Tieme, great minds think alike. The late sunrise and early sunset make for a nice day of photography and plenty of rest and relaxation by not having to get up early and stay up too late. Hope your weekend is filled with fun.

          1. Hi Mike,

That’s what they say 😉 But I’ve encountered quite some “not so great minds” who had the same thoughts 😉

Anyway, another plus is the golden hour lasts a little longer in winter 😉 The downside is the temperatures 😉

Thank you, I wish for you the same!

            Cheers,
            Tieme
