First Of The Season

It’s hard to hold back the excitement when you get a glimpse of the first Mountain Bluebirds of the season. This day the binoculars worked much better than the camera as the wind was howling thus making it difficult to take a non-blurry shot as either the shrubs or the camera lens was moving with the wind. However, we did manage to get a few photos between the gusts. I hope your day is as bright as this male bluebirds blue.

    1. Hi Eliza, I agree and every spring I just scratch my head with wonder that a bird can be so blue. Even though I have seen them every spring the color is still astounding.

feedback welcome
