Looking west towards Utah from the canyons of western Colorado. The wind was blowing wispy clouds our way along with a late spring chill.

Nice shot! Very Dramatic. Was it taken at a slow shutter speed or were the clouds that smooth?

  Hi Allen, this was captured with fairly standard f8 1/500th and the clouds were just soft and whisky that day.

    Wow, that’s cool! I love when there’s a contrast between smooth sky and textured earth (or vice-versa) in landscape photos. So cool when that contrast is already existing naturally.
