In what feels to be the blink of an eye spring has changed to summer. Green grass, hot afternoons and a forest that is just a bit quieter once the sun gets to work. A familiar spot that has gone from spring https://naturehasnoboss.com/2017/04/12/april/ to summer in the blink of an eye. A little reminder to enjoy each season before it is has slipped away.
Denver, CO.

We are on our way today to enjoy some mountains and cooler air. Don’t let it slip away.

Thanks Jim, it is an area we walk by very frequently. Something about it draws me to photograph it.

I enjoyed the comparison! Up here, spring is over in 15 seconds or less, and the switch to summer is flicked – it honestly seems that quick!

Hi, we have had springs like that as well. A week of pleasant temperatures the like a switch someone turns on the furnace. This year winter was like spring and then May was like winter. June has been up and down on an almost daily basis.

I love this contrast. I once took pictures of a trio of cherry trees in all four seasons. It was nice to see the changes.

Thanks, it is interesting to see the changes that occur. It would deb nice to set up a little time lapse as a fun exercise to see what happens.
