Thanks so much for the kind feedback. I have never seen a snowy owl as they rarely visit as far south a Colorado and when they do it is only for what seems a short time.
So different to my morning view! Majestic and somehow soft and fragile at the same time due to the way you’ve captured the dawn rays on the side. I feel like if I touched it, the whole lot would disintegrate.
IT is amazing how a rough rugged and somewhat cold and environment can fell soft and fragile at the same time. This is not my usual morning view but every once in awhile we do get to wake up to these special sights. Hope your day is going great.
Hi Eliza, it is a special treat to be able to wake up and see a scene like this every know and then with only a short drive from the house. Wish it was the daily morning view…maybe some day.
I do plan on having a great upcoming year and hopefully full of new and fun photos. Thanks for the feedback and comments as there are really appreciated.

Eye-Candy of the day: snow covered mountain tops. Check out the blog “Nature Has No Boss”! Our planet is sooo beautiful and this blogger is doing his best to document it – keep up the good work!
Hi and thanks for sharing our photo and the kind words that go along we really appreciate that. Wishing you a joyous, creative and wonder-fill 2015. Mike and Christy.
You are very very welcome Mike and Christy – it’s really true – I LOVE your pictures and especially when you mention which camera you used to shoot it – am a little nerdy about that. :-)) Keep up the good spirit, Nicole

So evocative…The mountain calls to mind a snowy owl. Two of them flew past me once at shoulder height…a male and female? Majestic photo…!
