Lovely scene. The red twigs in the foreground give it a lift of color. I can’t imagine hearing bison out in the wild, that must be something!

Hi Eliza, the red bushes do add quite a splash of color and the photo here understates just how colorful they were. It is fun to hear the Bison while out on the trail but when they meander on the path and don’t see to be interested in letting you past is another story.

Yes, I’ve seen videos of them going after tourists who stupidly get too close. Not particularly friendly characters, but they don’t need to be, do they? ๐
