A Cedar Waxwing ushers in summer. Perched in a tree with leaves so fresh you can almost smell the fragrant summer breeze.
Happy summer and happy Friday to all.
And to those on the southern half of the globe happy winter.

Wow, snow? I guess that is the elevation you’re at, but seems late for snow!

Yes, it is unusual but I guess that is perhaps one consequence of climate change. You just never know.

Thanks Jet, Waxwings are such interesting birds. This wing-tips are such a bright color and like no other birds feathers in color quality. Happy summer to you.

Hi, I set up that post earlier in the week when things were indeed looking summery however our start to the summer was also chilly, about 4 C, and with a bit of snow in the air. Rain this weekend but back to early summer next week if all goes according to forecast. Have a great weekend.
