nature has no boss 
We have some Robins that see their reflection in windows. They fly to it and peck away. It is hard to sleep with that going on. I resorted to drawing big ugly faces on paper then taping them to the window. Seems to stop them.

Hi Jim, we recently had a Yellow-Rumped Warbled performing that same behavior. We taped a nice cut out of a Robin to the window and it seemed to do the trick.

What a good idea to stop birds fighting themselves. They can be so determined about driving ‘the other’ off!
I used to stay on a farm midweek and my worst natural wake up call was from three miniature cockerels that my landlady installed under my window. They woke at dawn then took it in turns to crow until I was almost beside myself. Luckily there was plenty of room to relocate them!

I think so too. Nor is it a bad signal to get ready for bed as they chirp and settle into the bushes.

Yes the night time singing is an anchor to your day that says time for bed. Tobins must be good nappers getting up so early and staying up so late. Hope your having a great week.
