With the tips of a sage bush just poking above the snow a Raven endures the winter winds and cold while searching for the next meal.
From afar a black and white scene yet bursting with color the closer we got.

Great composition! Lovely picture. Even the black eye is seen. I’m impressed the bird cooperated so much! Mine are always squawking from the trees or roofs, an occasional picnic table.

HI, this guy was very happy to pose and put on a show for us that day. For us it is the Magpies that are very reluctant to pose.
