With a disgusted look on their face an American Robin wonders where spring has gone. Standing on a pond that was liquid as liquid can be only a few days prior and the forecast ahead points to another chilly couple of days. Really?
Spring can be so fickle yet this guy will tough it out.
So it goes, sometimes! I guess that is early Spring. The other morning we had hail, then snow, and then rain, back to back! Have a super Monday.
What a plump one!
Robins and snow, what a match! Warmer days ahead oh Red Robin…
They always come too early, but nobody could blame them for appearing in April!
This seems to be happening more frequently in our spring cycles doesn’t it? Early cases of balmy weather followed by cold snaps which as we know can create serious problems for wildlife. Lovely shot though. I do like the appearance of the American robins. They seem quite different to the European ones I’m used to here.
