An American Robin Enjoying the fall light in a forest of mixed colors. We have tons of Robing in our area in the spring and early summer and as the young fledge they are absent until Autumn begins. Glad to see they have returned.
I think robins are one of the overlooked every day birds — really pretty when you take the time to notice the details. Their songs make me very happy.
Also, I notice you have the same problem I do. I often wind up with a g when a word ends in “in” and I’m trying to do something else (You have “Robing” in your post). The number of times I’ve found I’ve typed Kathering instead of Katherine is embarrassing.
good to see them back
