California Quail
Peeking through the moss cover trees we we found a Male California Quail peeking back at us through the corner of his eyes.
Hiking with Hoo Doo’s
One of many hoo doo’s in the making along the spines and ribs of baked earth leading towards the top of Mt Garfield. A fun hike in a strange and wonderful landscape. Palisade, CO.
The Red Eye Flight
A Black Crowned Night Heron with the reddest eye I have seen on one of these guys takes flight over Arapahoe National Wildlife Refuge, Walden, CO.
