We heard this female Sparrow chirping away and singing non stop from the other side of the lake. When we got nearer to her she went silent but did allow a few quick photos before darting back into the thicker brush along the lakeshore.
A spotted sandpiper serene and observant along the banks of the Snake River in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park. It sure feels nice when we feel one with our environment.
A rarity for us and quite a treat was to spend time on a lake with a few common loons. Waking up to hear their calls on a misty morning is something I will always remember.
