Along the Snake

Kayaking down the snake river in Grand Teton National Park always presents numerous opportunities to observe eagles and osprey. This immature bald eagle was hanging out in a wonderful old tree along the shoreline in an area with little current allowing me to get a photo or two before I was moved along on my way by the river.
Someone to look up to.

These guys seem to be buddies. In fact, more often than not, I see the Pelicans hanging with the cormorants on this island while kayaking at oxbow bend in Teton National Park.
Strolling Along

Female mallards out for a morning stroll. I wonder what they are talking about. Photographed on fine summers day while kayaking on Leigh Lake in Grand Teton National Park.
