A blue sky reflecting in the waters with a Yellow-headed Blackbird perched along the cattails. That little bit of muck growing on the pond suggests that summer is moving right along.

The wildflowers were still singing and the music was sweet as sweet can be.

A symphony of yellow and purple as color was transformed to sound this summer day.

Happy Monday and wishing you a wonderful week.

Just passing through might be a bit of an understatement. While just getting ready to doze off we heard a bit of commotion just outside our campsite and just across a small creek this male moose came passing though. He moved along quickly and we hardly had time to snap a photo yet along admire him. Just passing through indeed.
Happy Friday and wishing you a wonderful weekend.

With talons that could be mistaken for the barbs of the fence itself a sparrow (Vesper?) eyes their next meal hidden somewhere in the green green grass beyond the fence.
A field of flowers like notes on a staff creating a not only a sight but filling the ears with a harmonious sound.

There are indeed times when the wildflowers sing. Like music, your favorite music.

A feast for the ears as well as the eyes.

A lichen covered post seemed a suitable perch for this sparrow. Shades of brown, gray and orange all similar yet all distinct.

A Western Grebe swimming silently into the wonderful evening light.
