In the Pacific Northwest we only get the white ‘Western’ pasque flower, not this lovely purple ‘Prairie’ pasque flower. They both seem to get the Dr. Suess-looking seed heads after the flowers are gone. Thanks for the beautiful photo!
Hi and we will have to travel to the NW to see the white ones some day. We also enjoy the seed heads and they are just as beautiful and fun to photograph as the flowers are. Hope your doing well and wishing you a wonderful weekend.
How beautiful. I have never seen them growing wild.
Hi we have them in the wild in early summer and even at times middle summer up high.
Beautiful!
Thanks.
Are they anemones?
