Hi, we were about 15ft from these guys but inside the snow coach. These guys just decided to pop up out of the trees and into our view as we were stopped viewing other wildlife. A nice lucky moment. Hope your day is going well.
you bet those guys are real. Going into yellowstone in the winter is indeed somewhat like going into a fantasy world but only because of the world we live in is so different.
Hi and thanks for the feedback. Although I dare not get to close I really enjoy their presence and being able to get a photo or two. Hope your day is going well.
HI, they are huge and we try to not get close and shoot with a long lens. You just never know. Time for a trip out west, perhaps a paddle on Yellowstone lake.
Hi LB, the snow coach is the vehicle that takes you into Yellowstone in the winter…the older ones are like large snowmobiles with a cabin that seats about 8-10 and the newer ones are vans fitted with snowmobile like treads instead of wheels.
I love this!

Wow! Are they real? They look more something from a fantasy. So foreign to where I am now. 🙂
