  1. Terrifically timed series! I love the coloring on cedar waxwings. Their fine body feathers almost look like velvet and the yellow tail ends and waxy wing tips add such a pop of color. A great subject.

    Wonderful photos. The Bohemian Waxwings have not shown up in our neck of the woods this year. During January they will strip the Mountain Ash of it’s berries in record time.
