From marsh shrubs to sagebrush to pine forest to snow-covered peaks. A wide open landscape sure helps bring peace and quiet to a busy brain. Looking out from the marshlands at Red Rocks National Wildlife Refuge in Montana.

Lovely pic, but I don’t wish to see snow right now LOL! I live in the Adirondacks where we get a good 6 months of winter per year, and only get a few really nice months to enjoy outside (if you are not a snow bunny) That scene looks so peaceful though, and I could picture myself out on that field, writing my little heart away!
HI and we also live where winter is long and summer is short.
My brain needs some quieting a lot lately. Too much disturbing news getting in the way. Gorgeous shot.
I think we could all use a low information lifestyle right now.
Beautiful layers of contrast – soothing, for sure.
What a sight? Well captured.
Thanks Alix, hope your summer is treating you well.
Stunning.
Thanks
Essential viewing!
Especially in person.
Every picture I’ve ever seen of Montana makes it look like a gorgeous state.
