I have noticed that each fall I end up taking a few shots of milk weed and always say to myself that next fall I need to make a dedicated effort to photograph this wonderful plant. The same happened again this year.

I love it too but don’t always find some to photograph. Love this shot. Natalie 🙂

It is truly beautiful!
The same thing happends with me every spring, the hepaticas and wooden anemones. I don’t know how many images I have of them, but the same thing happends every year.
Just gotta do it… 😀

As others have said, the B&W really brings out the beauty of the milk thistle (which I used to make crafts from as a girl scout oh so many years ago)

Don’t be too hard on yourself… the window of opportunity is very small! Love the fluffiness of this shot. 🙂

Hi Eliza, this stuff is sure amazing soft seeds getting ready to be transported away and given the right wind far away. What a thought.

Hi, Mike. Several months ago I contacted you about a line of exquisite wooden pinhole cameras and you provided me with a URL. Could you give mee the URL again. My finances are marginally better now, and I’d like into the pinhole camera again! Thanks, Mike. *g*
