Some years we swelter and some are very nice. This year has been a mix of hot, hot , hot and them pleasant. As the area around here gets more and more developed the heat just gets hotter. Less trees, more pavement and all the heat generated by all the machines. I Would love to have more trees.
There ought to be a by-law mandating the replacement of trees if developers cut any down. My sister lived outside Atlanta and it was sickening how they clearcut hundred year old trees to ‘pave paradise and put in a parking lot.’
Hi Eliza, yes I couldn’t agree more and they should have to plant a few extra to make up for the carbon they put into the atmosphere while constructing the house.
Beautiful light!

Hi Oleksandra, there was a very special light that evening and at just the right time to illuminate the wonderful white of the queen annes lace.

Yes, true. We don’t have the heat out here that you do. And we have tons of trees that act like natural air conditioners. I sure love those trees!
