What does the Prairie Dog do to refuel after digging holes for several hours, reach for an energy bar or gatorade, no way a nice handful of dandelion green will do the trick.

I could watch these guys all day!

I agree, they are fun to watch and their presence in their ecosystem is amazing to study and get a grasp on. A truly under appreciated animal but oh so important.

Ok, I admit there was cheese involved but it was organic from happy cows. 🙂

Thanks, he was busy as a beaver digging away although he wasn’t a beaver. Hope your day is going great.

She is indeed cute. As a side note we were watching this same group a few weeks ago and they were skinny and their coats were a very different color. As soon as the new green came up they got a bit chubby and their coats changed colored to a deeper orange. What a difference some fresh greens can make. Hope your day is going well.
