When you find yourself taking a walk through the park and hear the orchestra playing you just have to sit down and enjoy the show.

It was indeed and fading fast I’m sad to say. Summer giving way to an early fall or so it seems.

I have taken these same photos, perhaps in the same meadow! (Okay, a little hyperbole, but I have shot the same photos, maybe in a different meadow…)

Hi Gregg, it’s hard to resist the call of the wildflowers wherever they may be. So any meadows so little time. Wishing you a fine week.

I actually have a life list of North American Wildflowers. It’s somewhere around 2,500. My wife and I have pondered a wildflower Big Year, but we may have waited too long…

Seeing out an wildflower big year would be quite a journey of discovery. How many possible plant are there to see in North American. I can’t imagine. We have always thought of having some kind big year involving plant, animals, landscapes etc. Just a year soaking in all the natural world has to offer.

We’ve tried to live our lives that way, my wife and I, participating in nature as much as possible.

Hi Tanja and best of all you can come as you are i.e. no dress-up required. 🙂

I don’t know how far you would want to take this, Mike. This morning, I saw a fellow hiker who wore nothing but his underwear (and even that was skimpy). I guess he did not feel the need to dress up! 🙂

Well, that may be a bit underdressed. He was probably just a serious sun worshiper getting an awesome tan. 🙂

Thanks Belinda, we did have quite the show of wildflowers this year which to much chagrin is ending quickly as nights have gotten colder and the sunsets shorter. Hope you have a wonderful week.
