The weather sensing device, i.e. the camera in my iPhone, has just detected the polar vortex descending upon us with all it’s wrath and fury this morning. Does anyone remember when the weather report was just the weather report? iPhone camera and hipstmatic wet plate filter on a chilly Tuesday morning.

This makes me laugh, too~ weather as headline, complete with catchy phrases and fear.

Fear is the key. Winter is fun when you get out in it.

You are so right! I’ve never washed away in the rain yet! Very cool shot! Don’t you think we are getting too techy for our own good sometimes? No surprises left. LOL – oh and it’s an absolutely beautiful clear sky with sunbeams dancing on the water here on the West coast today. Loving it!

Yes, sometimes technology and a lack of surprise is a real bummer as we all need a good surprise very now and then. i have heard via the grapevine your current bout of sunshine is well deserved and perhaps well earned. Hope you are getting out and enjoying it. Have a great day.

Well, Although it’s morning a Guinness for breakfast might be just what the doctor ordered on a very chilly (-25C) morning like today. Have a great one.
Cheers.

Not long ago, we called it a ‘cold front’. Now it’s the ‘Polar Vortex’. And now wet snow is called ‘lake effect snow’. LOL…anything to make it more dramatic!
